It’s Christmas Jumper day! Today on 14th December, thousands of people from all over the country will wear their favourite Christmas jumpers to “make the world better with a sweater”.
While many of us can enjoy delicious food, presents, and time with loved ones, sadly for some, this is not the case. Christmas Jumper Day is the perfect chance to raise money for those less fortunate.
Here at Green Tree Court, our team are taking part by wearing their festive knits, donating £2 to Save the Children.
Christmas Jumper Day was created by children’s rights charity Save the Children in 2012.
The aim of the event is to raise money by having people who are wearing festive knitwear on the day donate a minimum of £2 towards the organisation, and a minimum of £1 if participants are in nursery, school or a youth group.
