Green Tree Court celebrated the D-Day 75th Anniversary in the best possible way, with a nice meal and great entertainment!

To celebrate this big day and honour our veterans, we decided to prepare a fantastic luncheon for our residents who really enjoyed the event! Some of them even joined our performer, Terry-May, dancing and singing along.

Head of Activities, Merle Weiner, said:

“Our D-Day luncheon with entertainment went off fantastically.”

“Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the 3-course meal cooked by our amazing chefs.”

“Our visiting performer, Terry-May, had everyone singing along to songs such as Underneath the Arches, The White Cliffs of Dover, to name a couple, and finishing off with We’ll Meet Again.”

To finish the afternoon, our wonderful hostesses served tea together with a Battenberg Cake decorated with the Union Jack.
